KC Industry was established in 1995 as Toam Industry and rebranded to its current name in 2015, with its headquarters and production factory located in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province.
Its core business encompasses the production and construction of precast concrete (PC) products across civil engineering and building segments, including civil PC (sound barrier foundations, retaining walls, top-down structures, tunnel invert boxes), PC boxes (power conduits, utility tunnels, culverts, power manholes), architectural PC (logistics centers, factories, underground parking, cooling towers, retention basins), PC modular housing, specialty earthworks, and non-cut (trenchless) construction—representing the widest product portfolio in the domestic PC sector.
KC Industry holds the No. 1 market share among 60+ members of the PC Culvert Association in the civil PC segment. A comprehensive construction license enables vertical integration from product supply through installation, a key differentiator in single-source public procurement contracts.
In PC modular construction, KC Industry became the first domestic firm to develop a stacked PC modular system via smart factory and in 2021 received the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's Industrialized Housing Certification—making it the second concrete-structure certified firm in Korea after Samsung C&T.
The company's IP portfolio encompasses approximately 100 patents and related intellectual property rights, supplemented by K-Mark certification, SME performance certification, and Public Procurement Service (Narajangter) excellent-product registration that collectively raise barriers to entry in government procurement.
Competitive dynamics have historically centered on Hansung PC Construction, Camus E&C, and Sampyo P&C, but the recent market entry of major construction conglomerates including GS E&C (GPC), Banddoconst, and Daewoo STI is rapidly reshaping the competitive landscape.
Revenue is weighted toward public infrastructure orders, which provides partial insulation against private-sector construction market cyclicality.
